The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has launched a new call under its Higher Education Initiative (HEI) program, which aims to strengthen universities’ innovation and entrepreneurship capacities.

Call Topics:

• Topic 1: Innovation & Entrepreneurship in STEM
  Redesigning STEM education with an entrepreneurship focus, strengthening intellectual property management, and increasing industry–university collaborations.

• Topic 2: Strategic Cooperation with European University Alliances (EUAs)
  Sustainable partnerships between the EIT ecosystem and EUAs, EIT Label developments, and innovation & entrepreneurship training across alliances.

Budget: €70 million total – up to €2 million per project
Duration: 24 months (1 September 2026 – 31 August 2028)

Consortium:
At least 5 partners → 3 universities from 3 countries + 1 company + 1 non-HEI organization

Proposal length: Maximum 45 pages.

Deadline: 4 March 2026
