Bilateral Cooperation Programs by TUBITAK
In the fields of science and technology, bilateral cooperation agreements have been signed with various countries either at the intergovernmental or inter-institutional level. Horizon Europe Programme
Horizon Europe is the 9th Framework Programme of the European Union designed to support research and innovation activities between 2021 and 2027. With a budget target of €95.5 billion for this period, Horizon Europe stands as the EU’s largest funding programme for research and innovation. Under this programme, the European Commission has introduced "missions" to better communicate the aims of the EU Framework Programmes to the public and to evaluate them based on more measurable targets.
These missions are intended to deliver concrete solutions to some of the major challenges we face, within a set timeframe and with a designated budget. The five missions defined by the Commission are as follows:
-
Cancer Mission: Conquering Cancer: Mission Possible
-
Climate Change Mission: Accelerating the Transition to a Climate Prepared and Resilient Europe
-
Oceans and Waters Mission: Regenerating Our Ocean and Waters
-
Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission: 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030
-
Soil Health and Food Mission: Caring for Soil is Caring for Life
Various funding schemes and research mobility opportunities are available to support participation in the Horizon Europe Programme. More detailed information regarding these opportunities can be found on the programme's official website.
